Wedding Albums

Wedding albums are the ultimate cherished keepsake and are a common product in my wedding photography packages. It is the preservation of memories in the most tried and tested form. For every married couple, the wedding album becomes an important heirloom, often thumbed over years later by subsequent generations, the pictures retelling the story and atmosphere of the day.

For every couple, there’s an incredible feeling when they’re presented with a photo album of their wedding. Album photographs are studied, and so the quality of the photographic printing can really be appreciated. 

I place great importance to the album design, ensuring the best, most appropriate images are used to give a strong sense of narrative across the layout. My wedding albums are all handmade, carefully produced using only the very best leather, papers and printing materials to showcase your special day to its full potential. Custom albums are highly personalised, and couples play a significant role in the design process. The end result is an album is unique to each couple and a bespoke telling of their day.

A professional printed, large wedding photography album is hands-down the best way to look through the photos and relive the wedding day. This is especially the case with my documentary style photography. It allows the eye to take in the all the texture, tone, colour, and composition in a considered manner when leafing through album pages.

It’s also possible to create digital wedding albums. However, I do hold some reservation that no matter how large the image it simply is not the same. Digital is the very opposite of a physical album - it loses the uniqueness, presentation and sensitivity.

I use two fundaments wedding album styles produced by world renowned wedding album makers: the traditional and often leather bound Jorgensen wedding albums and Folio’s eco- friendly wedding album range.

I’m usually busy putting together albums for wedding anniversaries, first year is traditionally celebrated with paper, so very apt.

Initial designs are put together within 3 weeks, there are unlimited tweaks to designs. Once a family portrait or wedding album layout is approved, orders are produced and delivered within a further 2 to 3 weeks.
