A Bit About Me

Hello, I’m Al and I create a particularly personal style of documentary wedding and portrait photography.

I will never ask you to play up to the camera; no posing, jumping, twirling or dancing. I will never utter the words ‘say cheese’.

I’ve been a professional documentary wedding photographer for close to two decades, commissioned to document hundreds of weddings and portrait sessions internationally; my wedding photography style has evolved into a unique form of natural and honest coverage.

I typically work with available light and seek to avoid the use of flash. This allows me to faithfully photograph atmosphere. This simple and discreet approach also gives my work a consistent look, wherever the photographs are taken.
