I’m Al, a wedding and portrait photographer with over twenty years of experience.
I’ve photographed thousands of weddings ranging from intimate coastal elopements to multi day celebrations across Indian, Chinese, and Jewish traditions, and bring that same documentary approach to events and portraits; focused on people, atmosphere and moments as they unfold.
My particularly natural style of wedding and portrait photography is often described as reportage, documentary and photojournalism - ultimately I work in a candid, unobtrusive manner that captures the day as it unfolds, without staged poses or endless group shots.
